Nastaliq is the graceful script created for Persian poetry, and it is learned by copying, line by line, with a reed pen. Beginners start with single letters and simple joins before attempting a whole word.
How the sessions could run
Each week starts with a short demonstration and a practice sheet, then members work on their own and post a photo for friendly comments. Read first about nastaliq calligraphy.
